Anunțat prima oară anul trecut în noiembrie, funcția Sets urma să introducă, în sfârșit, mult cerutele Tab-uri în File Explorer.
Funcția urma să fie integrată perfect nu numai în File Explorer, ci în toate aplicațiile UWP și chiar și în Microsoft Office.
Numai că vineri, odată cu lansarea build-ului de test Redstone 5 17711, Microsoft a anunțat că funcția Sets nu e încă gata la timp pentru lansarea Redstone 5 și că începând cu acest build funcția va fi scoasă, mulțumindu-le pe această cale tuturor celor care au participat la testarea și oferire de feedback pentru această funcție.

We continue to receive valuable feedback from you as we develop this feature helping to ensure we deliver the best possible experience once it’s ready for release. Starting with this build, we’re taking Sets offline to continue making it great. Based on your feedback, some of the things we’re focusing on include improvements to the visual design and continuing to better integrate Office and Microsoft Edge into Sets to enhance workflow. If you have been testing Sets, you will no longer see it as of today’s build, however, Sets will return in a future WIP flight. Thanks again for your feedback.
Totuși funcția va fi reintrodusă ulterior în versiunile viitoare, Microsoft neabandonând complet proiectul ca în cazul Surface Phone.
